Great gig at the Beaverwood club last night. Went initially to see JST and was torn between which of the two sets was best. Nice jam at end by you both too.
Made me feel old and want to throw my own Strat away - I can't compete. (But i won't throw it away just yet..). Thanks for the signing afterwards too. See you at the Jazz Club.

Checked out your videos on here and youtube :) Heard you're playing with Oli Brown next year. Thats sounds like a great tour with Joanne Shaw Taylor. Look forward to the dates and venues.
Virgil you can sure play!!! Looking forward to 2010.

Saw the band last night at the Boom Boom Club in Sutton and was amazed at their slick performance.
Not to many bands will want them as a support for fear of getting totally up-staged and blown away. Having grown up with the likes of Taste, Cream, Hendrix, etc Virgil and his band can stand with the best of 'em. Joe Bonamassa ..... you have competition.
Can't wait to see them again.

Saw you last night at the Robin 2, supporting The Fabulous Thunderbirds and was blown away by the talent of your band. So tight and such a mature performance. Not only can you play amazingly but your sense of timing is spot on too. Go for broke Guys, because you are going to be SO big! I agree with what I've read from some of the critics, you are surely going to be as big as Walter Trout, Joe Bonamassa and the like. It looks as though you're starting to take off, hang on and enjoy the ride!
All the best,
Gary.

'I was absolutely blown away by the talent of this young Aberystwyth band who played at Rummers on Friday.
The undisputed star of the trio is17yr old Virigl McMahon. This prodiguously talented blues-rock guitarist is set, surely, for great things to come. Naturally the music was heavily guitar-based, with vocals taking very much a back seat, but the riffs and the solos were a joy to immerse yourself in.
I any other band the two other band members, Virgil's 15yr old brother Gabriel on drums (who played a stonking solo) and Tom Sansbury, 18, on bass - would have the stand-out artists, for they are outstanding musicians in their own right.
One day I will dine out on the fact that I saw these lads play in a pub before they were famous'

I like you guys so much, I couldnt believe my ears on Saturday it was brilliant. Ive seen some highly rated bands over the years and your the best ive seen by miles. If you like guitar look no further than Virgil, but the other two Tom and Gabriel are just as good. Very very special band.

Wow - saw you guys at Rummers in Aberystwyth last night. Can't get over it! Am just down in Aber for a few days days over the BH and caught what I now believe to be one of the best young blues bands I have ever seen (and thats in the last 20 years). The musicanship from all three of you was just astonishing - and it wasnt just me saying that - so were loads of others. When can we expect to see you over in Birmingham? Have you got a CD? We will definately get to the Bilston Robin gigs and will say 'hello ' if not at the carvin jones gig then definately at the Fabulous Thunderbirds!

Good stuff !! You can't go wrong with Robert Jonson and SRV for guidance. I would like to hear you chaps doing a cover of some of the Led Zep blues stuff, and maybe a little John Mayall - anyone in the band playing a mouth harp yet ?
